Our parent company Deskin Building Design has been assisting homeowners and contractors to pass the stringent and ever changing requirements of the California Energy Code for over 30 years . We supply energy calculations for residential homes utilizing State of California approved software.
What is Title 24? Why do I need it?
Building energy efficiency standards are designed to ensure
new and existing buildings achieve energy efficiency and
preserve outdoor and indoor environmental quality. These
measures (Title 24, Part 6) are listed in the California Code of
Regulations. (From energy.ca.gov).
In a nutshell, all new custom homes and room additions are required to pass California efficiency standards, and supply documentation to that effect in order to get a building permit.

Roadmap to Compliance in California
Submit your building plans to us and we will enter all specs into the approved software to determine compliance.
If a building does not comply we will work with you to find the most cost effective solution.
After compliance is achieved we register the project with CalCERTS and provide the CF1-R paperwork required by the building dept. for a permit.
Pricing examples for residential new construction, remodels and additions:
* Up to 500 sq ft....$250
*501 to 1000 sq ft...$325
* 1001 to 2000 sq ft...$375
*2000 to 2500 sq ft...$400
*Over 2500 sq ft...contact us for a bid.
**Square footage total on additions includes original building unless it can be modeled as addition alone.
Price includes registration with CalCERTS and CF1-R compliance form for building dept.
